ABOUT

With two decades of experience, including at executive level, I have an impeccable track record of delivering results that make a real difference to mission-driven organizations and their communities. From Scotland, though with much of my career spent in London, I have been based in NYC since 2017.

My expertise spans government, grassroots, and nonprofit work. Over the course of my career, I've furthered innovation in and with organizations including Greenpeace USA, the New York Academy of Sciences, Common Impact, the UK Government's Department for Education, the National Children's BureauFamily Nurse Partnership, and the National Lottery Community Fund. Within these roles, I have advised senior politicians (including UK Prime Ministers), Chief Executives, Senior Management Teams, and more.

For 10 years I worked in the heart of the UK government, implementing flagship, multi-billion-dollar early childhood and education policy that has benefitted over 10m children since. Subsequently, I had the privilege of working alongside local communities on a groundbreaking nonprofit initiative to eradicate inequities for over 10,000 children in one of London's most under-served boroughs. Since moving to NYC, I've consulted across social impact, public health, political action, and environmental justice causes.

When I'm not working, you'll find me cooking up something spicy in my Brooklyn kitchen or managing my online vintage shop (my other passion). I also volunteer with local organizations and provide pro bono consultancy to small, BIPOC-led nonprofits via Catchafire.
